TV News: 13th Season of Dr Who Returns Halloween

Set to return to the screen on 31st October, of course with a Halloween themed episode is the 13th season of the BBC’s Dr Who show, which will be airing on BBC One as well the the BBC iPlayer. By the end of the series however we will be saying goodbye to Jodie Whittaker as she leaves her role as the Time Lord next year after playing the character since 2017, as well as long standing show runner Chris Chibnall. However it had been reported back in July that both had always known that this day would come, and when it would come, with Chris Chibnall having said; “”Jodie and I made a ‘three series and out’ pact with each other at the start of this once-in-a-lifetime blast. So now our shift is done, we’re handing back the Tardis keys.”

As mentioned above Jodie Whittaker finishers her stint as the Dr next year because the series will be followed by 3 specials, as her final performance will come in the autumn of 2022 for the Dr Who Centenary celebrations.

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
