Nerd News: Huge New Marvel Eternals Funko Range

From time to time Funko decide to ignore the process of spreading out their releases and announcements, to give us a huge release announcement to sink our teeth in to, and that is exactly what they’ve done with the Marvel Eternals show, and it really is a massive release!

There is a set of pen toppers (4 figures), a full set of 18 mystery minis including a Walmart exclusive as well as a Target exclusive and a set of 6 different pocket pop key chains (Ikaris, Sersi, Kingo, Sprite, Kro and Gilgamesh)… That deals with all of the little random bits and pieces, so let’s now take a look at the pop figures, which also has a fair number of chases and exclusives!

The common pops are Sprite, Phastos, Druig, Dane Whitman, Makkari, Kingo, Kro, Ajak, Gilgash, Thena, Ikaris and Sersi, however there is a REALLY cool twist with these and I hope this takes off. if you buy them through Entertainment Earth they also come with a card pack containing a single card (which will be one of 3 with an extra one for the Gilgamesh as this pop has a chase version). Another common is a jumbo sized version of Arishem which is a seriously impressive 10 inch figure!

For the exclusives there is a Walmart version of Thena with 2 swords, Funko have a casual Iakris while Target get the casual version of Sersi, FYE get Phastos with golden eyes, BAM get what looks like a semi transparent version of Sprite and finally GameStop and EB Games get their own version of Kro.

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
