Nerd News: Mezco The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974): Leatherface – Deluxe Edition One:12 Collective Pre Order now!

Wow, Mezco are one of those companies which doesn’t fail to blow me away with just about every new release, and this deluxe edition of Leatherface from the 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre is absolutely no exceptions… It is nothing short of stunning and I’d love to get one of these in my collection one day!

The One:12 collective range is a set of figures at a 1:12 ratio meaning that this guy is right around 17 cm tall, and comes with over 28 points of articulation… So you can pose him in just about any way that you could realistically want to pose him! But that’s not where this guy gets so incredible… That comes from the accessories and costumes, because this Leatherface is actually 3 figures in one!

So, he comes with:

  • 3 head portraits
  • 8 interchangeable hands (1 pair of fists, 1 pair of posing hands, 1 pair of grabbing hands and 1 pair of holding hands)
  • A short sleeved collared shirt
  • A suit jacket
  • Necktie
  • 2 different aprons
  • A pair of trousers
  • A pair of cowboy boots
  • A chainsaw with revving sounds
  • 2 chainsaw blood splatter effects
  • A cleaver knife
  • A bone knife
  • A mallet
  • A mallet blood splatter effect
  • A bucket
  • A display stand and adjustable display posts

Of course just like everything in this range it also comes in a collector friendly box. This thing really is incredible and is available for pre-order now with a shipping date slated for July to September of 2021 for $100 at the link below:

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
