Nerd News: Some Amazing Hasbro Star Wars Reveals

On Fan First Friday on 1st May Hasbro Pulse revealed a bunch of new Hasbro Star Wars products from a few different ranges and I think they’re going to make a lot of Star Wars collectors very happy… Either that or worried about their wallets!

The first double pack from their Star Wars Black Series is a blister pack containing Luke Skywalker completing his Jedi training along with Yoda. Both figures are poseable and come with a range of accessories:

Any new range of figures wouldn’t be complete with a new set of troopers of course, so this particular release features a new clone trooper as well as a new imperial storm trooper, with both again being poseable figures with a variety of accessories:

One which a lot of people are very excited about is a new Amazon exclusive, and one of the most iconic scenes from the whole franchise – Han Solo in carbonite, which comes in a retro style card backed blister pack. This is going to be a very popular figure!

This wasn’t the only Amazon exclusive to be announced however, with others including Darth vader from their carbonized collection as well as black series retro style packaged figures for 4-LOM and Zuckuss:

With the figure reveales now out of the way, there is also another must have for any Star Wars helmet collector! There is no doubt that when it comes to sci-fi helmets, Star Wars are at the head of the pack, and that the helmets are some of the most iconic things about the franchise. Boba Fett is of course one of the most iconic and they now have a white prototype version of their black series Boba Fett helmet and its an absolute beauty!

The final reveal of the day (and I think you’ll agree, that’s a pretty nice collection of reveals to get your teeth stuck in to) was a new Monopoly game based on the Mandalorian series, in particular the child:

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
