Nerd News: Mezco Rumble Society Cyber Ryder Coming Soon

This guy looks absolutely awesome, although I’m not 100% sure what he is made of. From the look of the last image where they show his removable head (a very cool little storage compartment for an interchangeable gun / canon) it does look like a vinyl toy, even though the pitting on some of the painted areas almost make it look like foam and it’s designed by soft toy designer John Santagada.

It’s an original design based on various 80’s cultural references based on a post apocalyptic world and a biker living in that time. Sounds very Mad Max to me, and looks just as cool as anything you’d want to see in the Mad max franchise!

This is a 4″ figure with 6 points of articulation, and as mentioned earlier both a removable hand and canon which can be stored inside the head. I like this last point as it’s pretty innovative and should stop you losing that all important laser canon! I think most people will have this guy out on display as it comes in a “collector friendly” poly bag. To me that sounds like something to keep it safe in when collecting to accrue some value over time rather than looking good.

This does look very cool though and can be pre-ordered on the mezco website (below) now with the final sale price being $20. They are shipping over the next couple of months.

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
