Nerd News: Gomez; Lone Roach & Grub Figure by Mezco

Mezco are releasing a fall 2019 exclusive which they’re taking bookings on to their waiting list now. It is due to ship from December to January after DesignerCon 2019 and will cost $90. It looks like you can order it direct if you’re attending DesignerCon (22nd – 24th November) as well. Getting on to the waiting list requires a $22.50 non refundable deposit with a sales limit of 2 per person.

This figure is part of the One:12 Collective and as well as Gomez as the main star, you will receive a Grub micro Met-Itz posable figure… How can you have the main protagonist without his side-kick?

The figure features:

  • Over 30 points of articulation
  • 3 different heads
  • 14 different hands which are interchangeable
  • Kimono with removable haori and waist belt
  • Hand painted detailing

The 17cm tall figure will also come with the following accessories, all in a box designed with the collector in mind meaning you can display it in the box should you wish:

  • The grub figure as mentioned above
  • A lone roach and grub 14″ x 10″ poster
  • Backpack with adjustable straps
  • A scarf with a posing wire
  • A boom boom boom box
  • A hoverboard
  • A zip sword with sheath
  • A short katana with sheath
  • A flag with flag pole
  • An official display base with logo and adjustable display post

This figure comes with a lot of stuff and it looks like it all works really well together, so I bet these are going to be a good seller. Get over and pop your name on the waiting list here:

Author: Figures 'n' Films

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
