Nerd News: Red Dwarf to Make a Return

This is the most exciting news I’ve read for some time, as I’m a huge Red Dwarf fan, and I’m hoping that this will finally show the good people at Funko that a set of Red Dwarf pops is well over due!

UKTV have announced that the cast of Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn will be returning to our screens in 2020 for not a new series but a 2 hour long feature length special, which will be predicated by 3 1 hour long documentaries which will sum up the story so far and show plenty of never before scenes and other footage.

All of these will be shown on Dave, which has been the new home of Red Dwarf for a while now, and I’m so glad that they’ve given the go ahead for yet more Dwarf action. And as always they are filming part of it in front of a studio audience on 6th and 13th December 2019 with a chance to apply for tickets being available at Lost in TV. I’ve already got my fingers crossed that I get somewhere during the ballot!

There’s no clue yet as to what the boys from the dwarf will be getting up to this time around but it has been said that it’s going to be their most epic adventure yet… Which is quite the statement!

I'm a collector of pop culture items, with by far my biggest collection being in excess of 1,200 DVDs (yeah I still stay old school - can't wrap my head around the whole streaming thing yet), as well as various figures and Memorabilia (with most of these being McFarlane Walking Dead 5 inch figures, Funko Pop and Funko Pint Size Heroes, with a few other exceptions too). I'm a massive nerd and giant child at heart so feel free to have a chat about anything toy and movie related. My biggest movie passions are horror by far (especially slasher and zombie), sci fi and to a lesser extent action and comedy.
